Carole Perry, a “corporate refugee,” and “truck driver” Don Carroll founded The Glass Foundry in 1990. For several years the pair sold fused glass art and jewelry at outdoor craft fairs. They gradually placed their emphasis on responding to a growing demand for affordable and functional art glass.
To celebrate their success and the evolution of a full-time business, they announced the renaming of Laughing Glass Studio in 1999.
“Working together full-time, we benefit from that creative synergism you get when two unleashed spirits collide in a small space.”
