One-of-a-kind fused glass menorah by Tucson, AZ artist Martin Levy.
Martin R. Levy is a retired clinical psychologist who has lived in Tucson since 1971. He moved to Tucson with his family when he accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Chief Clinical Psychologist at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He remained at the University for 19 years, first in a full-time capacity and then as part time faculty member, while maintaining a private practice for over 30 years. Martin and his family have always had an interest in the arts, and so it was no surprise that he became passionate about glass art shortly after his retirement in 2009. His work has evolved quite rapidly with his exploration of glass art techniques and his experimentation with various creative approaches to his art. Artistic appreciation is old to him, but artistic creation is new to him, as he marvels at the changes his art and his study have make in his perception of the world.
